Summer, work, & managing two:

Our summer has been blissful, my friends. I wholeheartedly believe everyone should have a baby in the late spring so they can enjoy the ever so fleeting newborn and infant moments and maternity leave in the lovely summer months. My sweet Juniper Louise is now 4 months old (today, actually -- despite what the photo below says). I do realize that I said I would post more in my last update, but I find quiet moments so rare these days. And when I do have a quiet moment, I seem to be cleaning, catching up on projects, or watching tv (no judging please... 45 minutes of a show once every other day is now a luxury!). Any tips for this mama - jugging two small babes, work, and hobbies such as photography and blogging?
I hope all of you are well. I'll leave you with a influx of photos of our July & August thus far. We've camped in the mountains four separate times, visited family in Washington (& also had our family from Italy come here), and my best friend growing up made a visit here which was simply amazing. Juniper's hair is just awesome! It looks like you are managing photography and lots of fun this summer... I think once the weather turns, and you are not out camping and playing outside as much, you will find more quiet moments for writing and relaxing.
Two is certainly a lot more to balance (at least for me it was!) but now, at 6 and 3, I find them spending so much time together playing, that I now think that most days, two is actually easier. Or at least more fun! ;)

Juniper's hair is just awesome and you have such a beautiful family.
It seems to me like you are certainly enjoying the summer (and managing some photography) even though your hands are full. I think that once fall weather sets in, and you are not out in the woods as much, you will find more time for writing, blogging and relaxing. That's what happened with me anyways....
Two can be a challenge, but now that mine are older, and actually playing together every day, it is so rewarding and so fun to watch them interact. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
