Today marks the anniversary of our mountain lake wedding five years ago!  It's actually our first 'Friday the 13'th' anniversary since we chose the date.  Fortunately we aren't too superstitious!

   

Today we went out for breakfast as a family, & planned on a short hike but the trail was closed.  Instead we went home and I took a nap, shortly after my b went off to work.  It wasn't a very eventful day.  I found myself getting a bit bummed thinking of anniversarys past - coastal cabins, camping in yellowstone, celebrating with nice dinners, etc.  But we're aching for money as of late so work mustn't be overlooked!

Not to mention we finally took the plunge and bought tickets to Italy for next month!  We've been putting away a small amount from each paycheck for a few years now, and really wanted to go visit B's fam there while the weather is decent & before Hazel turns 2 (she's free now, duh!).  

So I'll stop complaining now... :)

Ps: Thanks for all the congrats re my most recent post - it is indeed exciting, and we're cautiously optimistic.  Next appointment is this coming week, hopefully we'll know more.
