True love
Posted on | February 9, 2012 | 7 Comments
My friends, the last eight days have been magical. This baby is simply divine: her temperament and expressions, her beauty. I'm finding it hard to believe she is over a week old already. I want to document and memorize every single minute - from the baby smiles and happy noises she makes when she nurses, to the midnight rendezvous, the sore nipples and aching uterus. It is all wonderful.
I'm slowly putting my thoughts into words so I can share my birth story. It was such a profound experience, and I want to get it right.
Until then, will this do?
Now time to go snuggle!

So beautiful! Love her precious head of hair. I'm so glad that you've been able to breastfeed! I hope it's going well for you both. :)

Oh sweetness!!
What bright, alert eyes she has. What a little beauty!
The picture of the two of you brings tears to my eyes. It is truly precious.
Photos you will treasure for a lifetime.
I know what you mean about wanting to memorize it all.
When I wrote Bracken's birth story, I felt like I forgot to say so much. But oh well. I carry it in my heart always. :)
Thank you for posting those pictures, it is such a gift to see.
Enjoy this magical time with your loves.
Big hug,
Taryn

Thank you for posting more pictures! She is such a little doll and the picture of you two is simply beautiful! I am so happy for you right now. Enjoy your babymoon. I am still waiting on my babe to be earthside but hopefully not too much longer.
Much Love!
