Baby doings:

Oh friends, can I tell you about this baby we've created?
We are officially 13 weeks tomorrow. First trimester, snooze you later!
Babies favorite indulgences are raspberries and movie theater popcorn. Not combined, but perhaps baby would like it?
I bought my first pair of maternity jeans; this grapefruit size uterus is working hard. Tony Horton eat your heart out!
Baby met a set of grandparents, and even a great aunt, this past weekend. A room full of strangers clapped and oooh'd at our pregnancy, little old ladies touching the belly at B's father's 70th birthday dinner.
I wonder more and more everyday whether we've made boy or girl parts? C'mon baby, give it up!
There is a kung-fu master in there. The last two ultrasounds have shown beautiful formed legs and arms, and the myriad of reflexes that are developing, promting wonderful kicks, hands to the mouth, and a wiggling rump.
Here we are, a mere 2 weeks ago via ultrasound. Vampire baby, perfecting the upside down photo.

So glad things are going well. I remember I had a really hard time buying my first maternity clothes for some reason. It seemed so symbolic, I actually cried in the dressing room. You look beautiful. So are you going to find out if its a boy or girl??

p.s. aren't maternity jeans the greatest? seriously. it's like the best of both worlds! (both worlds being comfy-pants-waistbands and jeans, of course, haha.)

Yay!! I love seeing the baby belly!! You look so beautiful April!
Will you be by market this weekend? If not, I'd like to go blueberry picking at McKenzie river farm one of these weeks. Don't you live by there? It'd be wonderful to meet you there!! :) I look forward to seeing that beautiful belly in person.
