Corned what?

Fact of the day: I do not like corn beef & cabbage.
A giant apology my beloved who slaved on the crock pot all day, and of course to all of you Irish-Americans. But really? It should be deemed pickles and rust, that just about sums it up.
But did you know corned beef didn't even come from Ireland? Ha, take that.

I don't like it either! I tried it for the first time yesterday too. we made a big st patty's day feast at work yesterday and I figured that I better give it a try. ewwwww, super salty, greasy and just yuck.

we live near this deli that has sliced cold corned beef and it.is.amazing. i have it with bagels and cream cheese. but i'm also kinda weird, haha. as for the hot stuff, blech. i'm so with you. it's a salty mess. we're actually going to ireland in july so...i'm praying for edible food :)

Just popped in to say Hi. Glad to see you are doing so well. I never had any doubts although there were times I know you did. Things here are a bit tough. I've been out of a job since June. Rhode Island was already a mess before the recession hit and now it is worse. I keep plugging though and hope something will work out soon. The boat splashes a week from today, one plus I guess. We got a new puppy, my 10 year old golden had to be put to sleep. He was running in the yard and broke his leg. It was cancer... The new little guy is cute as a button.
