Happy New Year!

I suppose I enjoy posting on holidays? Actually the truth of the matter is I get put on call on holidays due to low pt. census. I did however work last night and rang in 2009. My labor was the last baby of 2008... and we all had bets on who would be the first in '09. It was busy but enjoyable. My patient was an absolute rockstar, and then I just picked up some couplets after she delivered. Good times.

Otherwise things are fine. I have 6 days off, and we are planning on contacting the hospital of the town we're interested in moving to. B is hunting, and I plan on relaxing and not feeling bad about it. I hope to snowshoe Crater Lake, if it's reachable, and take some photos with my new lens B got me for Christmas. We have a plan to stay in Yosemite with some other couples at the end of January... I am ecstatic! It will be lots of backcountry trekking, photography, and good times with friends.

Well, I'm off to go read.
