Giving thanks

Thanksgiving was wonderful this year - both Brad & I happened to not be working, which is always a surprise when you're both nurses. We spent the first half of the day on a short hike by our home, taking in the Oregon winter with her moist air & morning chill. We then spent the afternoon at our friends house who were kind enough to invite us to dinner at their home. We met new friends, ate good (very good!) food, played board games, and laughed at the babies.

My goodness, where is that hiking spot? Looks like heaven! That is what I wanted to do for Thanksgiving, go hiking. We had a non traditional Indian Food feast at out house this year :)

@Heidi, the hiking was up highway 126 towards Bend, by the cougar reservoir. We just found it by chance really! There are also some fantastic hot springs :)
