Gratitude Sunday + one day!
Posted on | July 9, 2012 | 2 Comments
I sat down last night to write a list of gratitudes (my normal 'gratitude Sunday' post, inspired by Taryn). But that quickly turned into a gratitude Monday list since Sundays are usually a bit busy for us.
So here it is. Gratitude Monday!
- Spending a day with just the three of us, a short road trip up the mountains to the pass. It is breathtaking up there, and the old lava flow makes you feel like you're on another planet.
- Going on quite a few hikes last week, with just Hazel and then again with the three of us on our day off. Being out in nature always rejuvenates my soul.
- Going on a play date with some other 'crunchy' mamas that I had only just met. It was such a good time (I posted a photo on 'this moment' the other day), and it was something I needed, to be surrounded by like-minded women.
- Being the nurse for a friend of mine's birth. She is such a strong lady, and it was such a beautiful birth, she was laughing right up until the end!
- Our dogs. Hazel is cutting her second tooth right now, so needless to say she's been on the sad and fussy side and not her usual happy-all-the-time self. Our pups never fail to put a smile on her face.
- Have I mentioned Hazel? Yes, I'm so very thankful for her. And of course her daddy!
- Slowly but surely trying to eat better. It's amazing how much better I both physically and mentally when I eat whole foods and protein.
- Bonfires on the back deck, and having Hazel out there with us one night. Summer is finally here!
What have YOU felt grateful for this week?

Yay for mama friends and hiking :)What wonder things to be thankful for. They are what I fall on to refresh my spirit too :)
That is such a cute little straw hat, just adorable.
I couldn't find your e-mail to respond to a comment of yours on my blog but we are only able to make it to the Oregon Country Fair on Sunday this year :( That would be so fun to meet up, are you just going on Friday?

What a cute babe you have! I live in Portland, so your scenery looks familiar!!
